Poll: Where is this Outreach PC going?

Time to make a decision, who's getting this PC!

More details on the options:

1. Addington School:

Had their PC stolen over the Christmas holidays
Have the facilities too fully utilise the machine
Staff are also able to teach kids how to use the machine to a certain degree
Internet Access
Con: Might get stolen again

2. Cato Manor Counseling Center:

Needs a PC
Has electricity in an area mostly without
Will be used by staff who do a lot of very good work with AIDS victims
Con: Will mostly be a word processor
Con: Might get stolen

3. Charity Office Computer:

Secure
Will be better maintained, longer life
Will be used by people who now how to use a computer
Con: Will mostly be a word processor
Con: Not going be treasured as much here

Turns out the major limiting factor is actually electricity. There are loads of incredibly needy places that could really do with a machine if anyone fancies donating a generator:P Failing this, the options above are what I've been told are the best bets. If anyone would like to see something added to the list, please say so below.

Lastly, the result of the poll will be tallied at 6pm Sunday evening and the PC will go wherever has the most votes.

Okay may b i am wrong but what is going on with this it is Jan 2012 xmas is long gone. So any updates?

Sorry all, been offline the last couple of days... As indicated by the poll, it's going to Addington (apologies to all who voted otherwise).

The PC is with the charity and they've were informed of the results on Sunday. I have asked that they take pics when they do hand over and they've said they will comply. As for when they actually do hand over, I'm afraid that's out of my hands.

We missed Christmas due to a bunch of factors but as it so happens, it would've been a fairly dull handover with all the kids on vacation. Schools here only went back today so I'd imagine that they would've delayed until at least today to have them around. I don't know what other admin is involved on their side but I can't image it taking much longer... Fingers crossed for some results today or tomorrow!
