    Nexus 7 (1st gen) vs Nexus 7 (2nd gen)

Hi guys, I currently have the 1st gen of the Nexus 7 and with the new one that just launched my ass is itching for it but I don't know if it will be worthwhile?

Anyone else stuck in this situation?

I know the specs of the 2nd gen Nexus 7 but to be honest I don't care for a camera on a tablet and with the whole RAM and cpu upgrade in mind, the 1st gen Nexus 7 is no fat kid in that area..
Also I have just updated my 1st gen Nexus 7 to 4.3 this morning so the new software is also not a pro to buy the new Nexus 7

@reactor_sa i agree about the huge improvement in the screen but to be honest when i compare the screen of my nexus and my HTC one the difference isnt really that big... the one thing thats annoying about the nexus screen is that the colours are a bit washed out

I don't know about the washout, I had a nexus 7 at one point too. I think it seems more washed out than it really is because samsung and htc seem to use dynamic contrast and very saturated color.

Re: Nexus 7 (1st gen) vs Nexus 7 (2nd gen)

I think one area that the new version will kill the old one, is battery life.

The TEGRA3 just wasn't efficient at all, even when my Nexus 7 is sleeping it loses far too much battery life.
