    Transport companies are so expensive of late that it would make more sense to use some money to book in somewhere overnight and drive it down.

    Lol it will work out way more, than shipping it down, if you take into account fuel, accommodation and a man has to eat, lets not forget the toll gates, back roads on a bike isn't an option, with taxi's and varying degrees of bad to worse roads, the safely getting there, is a major risk.

    In this day and age alone on a bike on such a trip, is a suicide mission.

    Break it down.

    R600 for accommodation down, if you don't get on a flight right away accommodation there, R600
    R400 for food
    Bucket load for toll gates. ( R300 +-)
    R1500.00 for fuel -+
    R700.00 plane ticket back +-

    R3500.00, will likely be more.
