Lan thread

Hi all, want to know if anyone else would want a permanent LAN thread where people can see when, where, and what events are taking place.
It used to be that every weekend i could go online and find some or other LAN in jhb to go to, but lately the LAN tree bares no more fruit.
The only LANs around that i know of are Mayhem and Liberty, no more Forge, no more Legion. etc

Even if someone is having a home LAN that wants extra cannon fodder to come over i am sure there would be many willing volunteers, me being one.

How about it mods

Did not think of that, not keen on driving to the cape for a LAN...lol Although i have done Pinetown a few times

Would be nice if there was a whole section dedicated to lans with sub-forums for each main one so guys going can organize whatever, meet guys from carbs at the lans, etc. Then have a general lan thread where other smaller lans can be discussed

A lan template may be useful too, something like address, time, numbers and what games one needs to own to participate?

really awesome idea, with games, keep versions in mind. Some guys want to play Retail/Steam/Specific Versions of the game that may not link to others (CSS/COD4 etc as well)

Address : Insert Address Here
Parking : Yes/No
Price : Free/Price for Guard for the night/Whatever other fee may be involved
Food : Whether there is a nearby Bar/Garage/Pizza or Bring your own.
Games : Insert which games will be played (As well as versions)
Max People : Insert the number of people you can accommodate

Confirmed Members : Place the confirmed members here.

Keep thread open to edit so confirmed can be updated. Anything I missed? :P
