HD7970 OC Challenge

Lots of 7970's on this forum now. Still a super expensive card, but a great one.
So here's the deal, this is an OC challenge to all who own 7900 graphics cards. (7950's welcome as well)
It's simple
* Platform - Sandy Bridge (No Sandy Bridge-E allowed) - That's LGA 1155, P67/Z68 and Z77 boards are allowed (those who have

)
* CPU Clock limit is 5GHz and only 6Mhz more is allowed (standard OCL rules for those who remember)
* Air cooled HD7970's only, no water cooling
* Standard HWBOT settings with verification link to Futuremark (setup an account it's easy if you don't have)
* Single Graphics card, please no crossfire, just one VGA

Can submit in any order, this runs until Monday the 29th of Feb

i7 2700K allowed?

Can we submit crossfire results? or only single card results?

Month is much better seeing as my main rig is in pieces at the moment.

You're welcome to use your 2700K. This challenge is for single card but I'm sure ShockG would love to challenge you to dual card as well (you'll have to confirm with him though)

2700K is 1155? And he asked for Single. (makes it easier to challenge others for a prize as not everyone has more than one)

Would be cool to see the results of two though! Also... where is the cheapest I can get one of those? ;P

It's only a matter of time until anc catches on and starts a luxury tax on secondary gpu's - then sli and xfire gonna really cost as much as houses.... :-P
