    can someone explain to me the staple thing?

    I simply pushed the sleeving over, popped on some heatshrink and bobs your uncle! Didnt have to take the PCI-E plug off

    Well, if you are going to be sleeving individual wires...you will need to unclip all the cables individually.

    Kinda hard to explain, but I will try - Staples are in a U form, bend one end straight, to make a 7.
    You will need 2 staples. then take the 2 staples and insert them on the plug end of the connector, on the sides. Press them in and pull the cable out.
    There exists some youtube videos on this.

    One thing worth mentioning....it will end your fingertips.

    Your fingers wont be the same for a week after this. ( Unless you have some top notch crimping tool, but those are gonna hurt your wallet more than your fingers )
