FS: There's a vB mod to make the first post always editable in certain forums etc.
First Post Editable Indefinitely - vBulletin.org Forum
I'm afraid that I don't know of a modification that does this. Further more, it would have to be done via AJAX, which would mean that every user on the forums will have a scheduled check for PM's every minute or 5, which will slow down the forum, I think. So, even if it's available, I don't think I'll install it. Use your browser to put an auto refresh on the page.
I'll think about installing this. Seems worth while.
I don't know of a mod like this. If you purchase the subscription, you won't have a problem with this.
I'll think about it.

VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT PM ME FOR FORUM HELP/ISSUES. THERE ARE MODS FOR A REASON.
With the whole chatbox story and such, and the geeks we are, isnt it a cool idea to take this oppurtunity to enhance our chatbox into a webbased IRC client, which has lost more features than the original like private messaging, ignore modes etc etc?
The web started as an open based free-for-all. A webbased IRC client, with a proper disclaimer should assist all users and waver any consequences for the host carbonite.co.za
There is an IRC room on Shadowfire if you wish to follow this route.
We liked what the CB gave to the site, just not how things had turned out at times. For this we are busy relooking at how best to integrate the CB again.
What about a sticky somewhere, perhaps the tech section, listing the most popular brands with the warranties that apply to their products with the relevant links to go to if something breaks. I know that people can just look these things up, but sometimes there is confusion concerning warranty lengths and I think it could be handy to have all relevant information listed in a single place.
Something like:
I threw this list together very quickly so there will in all likelyhood be brands missing. I was not certain which method would be best to list different kinds of items, eg:AMD

The active topics list in Tapatalk has italicised fonts, which I find very difficult to read. Can anything be done about that? Or am I going to be outvoted?
