Sounds like a good idea Dutchdog.
Hi, maybe a sticky, for continuous improvement.
I suggest a subdivision of the classifieds in a For sale and a Wanted section wich are subdivided themselves to get a good overview and go directly to where you want to go. Individual forum parts can them be bookmarked for quick access. Menu division as below.
Classifieds
Wanted
- Hardware
- Software
- Games
-- XBOX
-- PS3
-- PC
- Miscelanious
For Sale

Not yet. If the forums gets really busy, then we will consider this. However, I don't think empty/inactive forums are a good thing. So, in time, this will be done, but not quite yet. Lets get this going, and we can do this sort of thing later. I will, however, sticky this and move it to the rules forum.
Firestar, I can't seem to edit my first post in the Classifieds section, I'm only able to edit the last post I made in my own thread?
Is this intentional or a oversight?
Is there going to be an "iSpy" type of this set up?
It's intentional, but it might be an intentional oversight
Is this something that will make life a lot easier?
Maybe. I'm trying to not kill the server, though. At the moment, we're running 3 large websites on this server, and another two that's smaller. iSpy is a pretty crazy thing, but I am looking at some sort of ajax page that will refresh by itself, since that does drop the bandwidth usage and the server load a bit, if set up correctly.
Lastly, VB 4.0 is still a very new platform. There's at this stage only about 600 modifications out, where the older versions of VB has 1500 odd. So, in time, we'll see all our favourites come back (live page and iPsy, to name two).
Would it be possible to make the classifieds posting template to appear automatically when you make a new thread?
This can get rid of the hassle to go copy and paste every time one tries to post a thread, and the PH Classifieds itself will look professional(?)

I can take a look at that. But I don't think it's a feature. I'll have to see if there's a mod available, but I'm afraid I'm not prepared to pay for this one. I've already spent R2500 on these forums, and I need 2 more mods created, which can cost probably another R1000.
If the community wants to donate to get this mod done, I'll post a request for quote thread on VB.org and see what it will cost. I estimate about R500.
I'll donate if it can be done. Give me a shout Henk
OK, I've added a request thread over here:
