Hi Everyone,
Next week Tuesday evening, from 18:00 onward, we're going to be moving the forum server to another host. There will be DNS changes required, so downtime will be varied from a couple of hours, for a possible 24 hours, depending on DNS aggregation.
This will be a forum wide change to both PHforums.co.za, Carbonite.co.za and Unforgiven.co.za.
I will post updates on our twitter feed, so please feel free to keep that open, to see the progress:

I'd recommend asking your current DNS host to change you TTL to be a much shorter time, like 5 minutes. (at least 24 hours before the upgrade). That way people shouldn't have any problems with outdated dns in PC/ISP/company/proxy caches etc.

Well good luck... Personally have had terrible luck with moving hosts... Half the time the guys that do the "free migration" stuff it up and then I've had to just SSH in and sort it all out. The most annoying thing ever though was a host that put a redirect page on the domain before the files were across so some people checking ended up loading the redirect page but because it redirects you instantly you cant really "refresh" it and since it never had an expiry on the page it took forever to get out of caches

Original Poster OK, everything is done. Very few of you should be having issues with the DNS propagation. It went through really quickly, although there is a likelihood that some of your DNS servers are still propagating.
Let me know if there's anything that doesn't work. PLs use this thread.
