Thread: Chatbox: Oh, why is my time killer gone?

Yes it has been removed and no it wasn't a glitch.

I have asked on a few occasions and the team have been trying really hard on editing but some people just didn't seem to understand what was being asked of them.

So because of the actions of a few people, I've removed the chatbox. It has been the constant playground of derogatory comments, flames and quite a few truly disgusting links. Push our buttons enough and we act upon it.

We have been lenient and we have been extremely understanding and I believe we have been too soft.

For now, use chatting on skype, gtalk, IRC until the team decides a way forward.

Ive quoted this near verbatim from luc's original post. As its the same issue again.

The Carbonite and Prophecy team will be discussing this in private and a decision with regards to the future of the chatbox will be decided.

I killed the CB because it was somewhat getting out of hand. For right now, the CB is out of action.

This isn't one persons fault and it wasn't done to be malicious. We had to act in order to work on a several reports received.

If you wanna chat, use the usual channels of skype, gtalk, msn. heck even a pm
