Big update:

Sorry for the wait guys, I've been scurrying around the past few days sorting out a few life niggles

As it stands I got a stock confirmation this afternoon:

The 558/598 is out of stock and only expected to be back in stock by April.

As more than half the order would have comprised 558/598's, we come to a tough choice.

Either select a model that is currently in stock, or wait for stock to arrive.

This is unfortunate, as I know that waiting is pure torture at the best of times.

Now for some solutions:

What I'll do for this order is split it in 2:

Order now for all in stock items and postpone the 2nd part of the order till the aforementioned headphones are back in stock.

This will result in slightly elevated prices due to higher shipping per item (we're talking R50-100 here at most).

For those still interested in continuing with the order, please pm me so we can get it finalized as soon as possible before further items go out of stock.

I sincerely apologize to everyone that has to wait even longer to get their headphones, but this was completely out of my hands, still, I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Alternatives to the order:

Ordering from amazon UK (great specials at the moment) will still be more expensive than the order, but you will get your headphones much earlier through them.

Headphone.com is also running a special on almost all items of 15% off for head-fi.org subscribers (and they stock every brand of headphone known to man, together with amps/dacs/accessories).

I'll be pm'ing everyone this post and further details so we can get the first part of the order finalized.

Just a correction on the previous post, it is headphones.com and not headphone.com (previously headroom) that is running the 15% special on most products.

Also, most payments have been made, I'm just waiting for the funds to clear before I order.

Update:

The order is now closed for new requests, except if you are an Absa account holder.

I do have an absa account :-) I only see one thing I like on headphones.com, yet I don't see where the 15% discount is!

The item is currently at a sorting facility in the US, from where it will leave the US on it's way to sunny SA

Next update to follow later tonight/ tomorrow morning.

Update: The item has left the sorting facility and is currently in transit to SA.

It should arrive and be cleared by customs around Monday.
