Hey guys I need some advise. I want paint my 600t and i have a couple of questions. I really want someone with proper painting experience to help me if possible.

1)What kinda paint would be best suited for this job seeing as i will be painting on plastic and metal and want the same finish on both?

2)What procedure should i go with in regards to painting the plastic and the metal, in terms of primer(if needed), sanding between coats ect. ?

3)What would a ballpark figure be if i take it to a pro and let them paint it for me? If you know of people in the jhb area that does this kinda work plz pm me a nr or post a link or even suggestions of people i might try for example panel beaters?

I would really like to do this myself but if i can get it done for cheap by a pro why not.

hey guys,i couldn't decide if this belonged here or under tech talk,so mods feel free to move it if im being a moron...
firstly,i have some UV reactive tygon tubing in my case, and i want to make it light up like a christmas tree...should i use UV LED's or cold cathode lamps?
secondly,i also need recommendations on LED strips, cold cathode lamps,El wire and where to buy them. (for the UV and for general illumination)
thirdly,my case theme is green, will the UV conflict with this?
thanks.

Change H100 LED colour

Ok so the first time I got my H100 I never liked the white LED lights on the pump as it was not matching my pc colour scheme of blue and black.

Ok so the first time I got my H100 I never liked the white LED lights on the pump as it was not matching my pc colour scheme of blue and black.

So today I got the nerve to change it. Took some pics as I went through the process in case you also want to do it.

NOTE I think this will work on all H series water cooling but I can be wrong...

What you need.
1. Philips screwdriver and flat head
2. Thin plastic in the colour you want the LED to be. Do not use paper as its to thick and the LED wont shine through
3. Scissors
4. About 30min of your time and remember you will remove the block so you will need some new thermal paste :p

Step 1

Remove the block

Step 2

Remove the brackets that hold the block to your motherboard. 2 screws located either side

Step 3

Now you have access to 4 clips that hold the PCB and cover in place. Go and push them in with flat head screw driver till the whole thing comes off.

Step 4
Now you have something like this

Go ahead and remove the 3 screws that hold the PCB together

Step 5
Now you will see the white plastic, Go ahead and cut little pieces that will fit in there. Note I really didn't bother with it to much. You can slide the coloured plastic under the black thick "shell"

Good Day to all.
I am new to the forum and hope i am posting in the correct section.

I've recently built a gaming machine and just short of a graphics card. what i would like to know is whether i will still be able to connect my monitor to my display ports on the motherboard itself once i do have a graphics card?
my budget for a graphics card is between R4000-R5000, Should i wait for the gtx 700 series or buy something within that range now?

off the topic could someone please tell me how do i add a signature to every post of mine, i see many people have their rig as a signature

Thanks

Hi, ok so I signed up just to ask you guys this question :P

So on the 15th op April - last month I ordered a bunch of sleeving from Nils at MDPC-X
100m - black sleeving
100m - blue MKII
and some heatshrink for 2 projects I am working on

Question is its still haven't arrived, its been 22 days till today. How long did you guys wait for your sleeving to arrive at your post office. I really don't want this package be going missing as it was allot of money.

What makes it worse is that we don't get any tracking number to track it

Any advice would be grateful :D
